Ridge/Hip Caps are tapered from end to end, the wider end on one cap being pressed down over the narrow end of the next cap in line.Lay the caps so that they overlap by 75mm (3”) to 100mm (4”) and tack in place at the lap. Sight along the ridge to ensure the caps are straight and true. Adjust as necessary then drive nails in. Secure with a further two nails on each side of the caps.
